Counter Attendant Job Description

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they approach the counter and take their orders
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Operate cash register and handle customer payments
- Keep the counter area clean and organized
- Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dining area
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate transactions
- Work in the kitchen to prepare food items as needed

**Requirements**:

- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate change and handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of retail math is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Pay: $16.75-$17.50 per hour
