**Job Summary**:
The Receiver will play an integral role in the safe, timely, and accurate receipt of items ordered and placed in specified areas of the warehouse. You will have to opportunity to work as part of a team and strengthen valuable skills including organization, communication, and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Work effectively with other members, Communicate, and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products, ensure drivers are welcomed and taken care in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Making sure outsiders are following HG warehouse protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, including safety, 5S, quality, delivery, cost, and lean initiatives.
- Ensuring timely, accurate and efficient management of the stock receipt process and cycle count process to achieve inventory accuracy; target is +99%.
- Daily receiving warehouse transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure materials are checked against vendors’ invoice/packing list, bills of lading, customer supplied orders and HG receiving processes and procedures.
- Ensure material is checked at receiving for compliances to HG requirements, QTY, Specs, conformity, damages.
- Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
- Ensure Subcon process is followed.
- Ensure flow of material is maintained and accurate.
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards internal and external audits.
- Report any discrepancies.
- Work with buyers effectively.
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow customer return process.
- Back up when inventory supervisor is absent.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and safety procedures.
- Maintains clean, orderly, and safe work areas always.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Physical: sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping, lifting and reaching. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Mechanical: working with a saw, power tools, able to work a jib crane and have a **valid forklift license**

**Education & Skills**:

- OSSD High School Diploma or GED required

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in, or working with, manufacturing operations
- Working knowledge of ERP system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

**Working Conditions**:

- Hours of operation: 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility
