**ABOUT YOU**
**Public Relations Specialist Role**
Reporting to the Vice-President of International Markets, the Public Relations Specialist will play a key part in shaping and upholding the public image of the company within the cleantech transportation sector. This position requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. As the orchestrator of internal and external communications, you will craft messages that resonate with the audience, showcasing dedication to sustainable aerodynamic solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Brand Messaging and Positioning**: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our company's vision, mission, and goals.
**Content Creation**: Develop engaging and informative content for a variety of platforms, including social media, website, and press release distribution, that resonates with our audience and enhances our brand image.
**Branding**: Work closely with external marketing agencies to develop and execute campaigns that effectively communicate our brand to our target audience. Guide the creative process to ensure that all visual branding materials (logos, brochures, advertisements, etc.) align with our brand identity and messaging.
**Media Relations**: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets to secure and grow media coverage across traditional and digital platforms.
**Performance Analysis**: Evaluate the effectiveness of PR and branding strategies through qualitative and quantitative methods. Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to continuously improve brand perception and media presence. Stay up to date with PR trends and media landscape to keep strategies fresh and effective.
Support governmental affairs initiatives and other admin as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, branding, or a related role.
- Proven track record of working successfully with graphic designers and marketing agencies to achieve branding goals and launch public relations campaigns.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English and French; other languages considered an asset.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, even under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital tools. (CMS: WordPress, Canva, Cision, etc )
- Ability to build strong customer and partner relationships face-to-face and online.
- Detail oriented with an aptitude for technical information.
- Ability to meet deadlines and/or targets.
- Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment.
- Team player, strong interpersonal skills (listening, interpersonal skills, diplomacy)
- Deep understanding of media operations and experience in media relations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage expectations.
- Possess a strong working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe tools considered an asset.
