The Growth and Performance Marketing team within Sun Life’s Client Experience Office has embarked on a major transformation. As part of this transformation, we are continuously launching and testing new ideas, platforms, and solutions to generate new leads and identify opportunities for existing clients and group members. As a key member of the Program Strategy and Optimization team, you’ll be responsible for supporting **Sun Life’s Head Office Leads Program (The Program)** strategic growth initiatives including the development of business cases, tracking the realization of benefits, and monitoring of our key performance indicators. The Program is dedicated to connecting Clients and prospects seeking financial advice to our distribution network of Retail Advice and Solutions advisors.
This role requires a strong strategic thinker with excellent data analysis skills and a passion for solving business problems. You will be depended on to provide recommendations based on the performance of our programs and campaigns, measure success, and provide insights to the leadership team. Your mandate will be to use data-driven insights to strategize and implement new enhancements and/or initiatives for The Program. You will articulate what we are doing, how it is performing, and where there are opportunities in a clear and concise manner.
**What will you do?**
- In partnership with the analytics, operations, and strategy partners, you will prepare data insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership to improve overall program performance and adoption.
- Assist in the development of business cases and review of sales channel specific performance and the opportunity to expand on the program eligibility requirements.
- Support Smart Assignment project providing close oversight, validation and strategic prioritization aligned with set objectives, timelines & budget.
- Track the end-to-end program performance and advisor related indicators, including ad hoc analyses, to ensure program is optimized and drives results that meet key objectives.
- Proactively identify new areas & opportunities to drive program performance and brand through effective communication with stakeholders, field leaders and advisors
- Brainstorm new solutions and solve for Client and advisor needs, backed by insights from supporting data and analytics.
- Support the Marketing and Sales leaders in enhancing dashboards to measure and track performance.
- Develops and maintains tools and processes to report on team objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Translate data into valuable insights, tangible actions, and strategic recommendations, communicating in a concise, honest, and understandable way.

- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment.
- Highly inquisitive/curious, excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive insights, link concepts and opportunities for improvement.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and solid PowerPoint skills to deliver strong presentation, storytelling, and written communication skills with significant exposure to senior management.
- Willingness to challenge conventional thinking supported by an effective problem-solving approach focused on identifying critical business issues.
- Superior interpersonal skills, leadership and influencing capabilities to effectively manage relationships across the organization.
- Self-motivated, able to work both independently and collaboratively with multi-functional teams, as both a leader and member.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups or activities. Effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation
**What will be nice to have?**
- 5+ years of relevant experience in strategy development, client experience or business growth functions
- Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or CPA are highly desirable qualifications in this role.
- Ability to identify and report on market trends within external environment that impact the business.
- Expertise in visual analytics
- Experience in life insurance/wealth management, or other financial services industry (e.g., retail banking or fintech).
