Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join our day shifts. Do you have experience working with aluminum sheet metal? Then this is the position for you In this role, you will be assisting in the assembly and fabrication of custom architectural aluminum panels. The position is located at our Mississauga Branch which is located at Airport Road and Derry in Mississauga. This position will be reporting to the Metals Production Manager.

**Positions available***:
**Day**: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

- This position pays between $20.50 - $22.50/hr.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate various machines and equipment, including CNC Machines and metal bending equipment
- Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products
- Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
- Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment
- Polish metal products to mirror finish
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Use hand tools like drills, rivet guns, and grinder
- Use measuring equipment including measuring tape, vernier caliper, and micrometer

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Has experience working with thin-gauge aluminum
- Is adept at using various hand tools, including grinders, drills, and rivet guns
- Has exposure to various CNC machines and metal bending equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to Read a Tape Measure
- Ability to work independently
- Detail Oriented
- Can stand for 8 hours a day
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Can interpret drawings, calculate angles, measure and mark up material
