**About Us**

Opening its very first shop in 1994 near the Kaohsiung area in Taiwan, **Palgong Tea** is well known for its milk tea based with rich flavoured teas, fruit teas, flavoured topping foams, smoothies and coffee variations.

In Korea, the first shop opened in May 2017 near the Jong-Ro district. Since then, the brand has expanded to more than 400 shops in the country. In February 2018, the first international location opened in Toronto, Canada. Palgong Tea is also coming soon to the USA, Australia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Japan and more.

**Palgong Tea **is currently hiring baristas/cashiers for its Whitby location. Baristas will learn the ins and outs of running a cafe and making high quality drinks in a fast paced and competitive work environment. They will be able to hone their skills in customer service, inventory management and the art of making bubble tea.

- Barista/Cashier $15.50/hour

**LOOKING FOR AVAILABILITY FOR FRI, SAT AND SUN **EVENING SHIFTS**

**Required qualifications**:

- No previous work experience required
- Fluency in English
- Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to work within a team environment
- Available to work at least 20 hours per week (part-time)
- Available to work 40 hours per week (full-time)
- Able to learn quickly
- Able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks while maintaining composure during busy hours
- A proactive approach and ability to build customer relations and with a passion to serve customers

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
- Food Handler’s certificate (preferred)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
