We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and driven individuals to help support our Assembly Department in the role of Assembly Technician at our Port Colborne, ON facility.

**Tasks/Responsibilities**
- Responsible for Production Assembly of Piping, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, etc.
- Accurate interpretation of production drawings, blue prints, and other production information so as to ensure a high standard of quality and safety
- Responsible for the preparation of materials prior to actual assembly operations when required
- Ensure proper clean up and operation of work station/area
- To always work in a safe way as per Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Company's Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Assist Fitter’s when required
- Perform additional duties as required

**Schedule**:6 week shift rotation
- Monday to Friday (4 weeks): 7:00AM - 3:30PM
- Monday to Thursday (2 weeks): 3:30PM - 2:00AM

**Preferred Skills**
- Automotive mechanical background an asset.
- Experience with blueprint reading and working with tools
- Team player willing to work towards business targets and takes responsibility for decisions and outcomes.
- Willingness to learn new skills and perform a variety of tasks and roles.

**Requirements**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
- Assembly: 3 years (preferred)
- Automotive Mechanical: 2 years (preferred)
