Your day to day activities will include:

- Determine future transport (truck or rail) needs and book/schedule as per customer requirements
- Negotiate freight rates and availability with carriers
- Work with our elevators and related departments to ensure timely execution of sales and shipments
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of customs documents, invoices, and customer orders
- Update Agrosoft and maintain reports detailing shipment statuses, current rates, and data trends
- Maintain seamless integration with other departments in P&H and foster a culture of respect with a positive and progressive environment for all employees and customers
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in negotiating and coordinating shipments via rail and/or trucks
- Diploma or Degree in business, agriculture or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping agricultural commodities is considered an asset
- Strong decision-making and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
