We are searching for permanent housekeeping / laundry aides for one of our locations in Whitby, Ontario. We offer a flexible work schedule that allows for work / life balance.

**Duties**:
Follow job routines to maintain overall cleanliness of facility; sweep, mop and wash floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture; clean, disinfect fixtures; disinfect rooms and other areas; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; clean and disinfect elevators; handle and report lost and found items; pick up debris and empty trash containers; assist in other areas of facility as assigned.

Launder, fold and deliver resident and facility linens and clothing.

Floor care includes using floor care machinery.

Working Conditions:
Must enjoy working with seniors and bring a positive can do attitude to work everyday.

Involves pushing, pulling, bending, lifting and standing and walking for long periods of time.
