Superior Facility Services is a family owned company providing laundry and housekeeping services to long term care and retirement facilities for over 30 years. We are searching for part time and casual Cleaners (Housekeeping) / Laundry Aides to join our team at our facility in Whitby, Ontario.

Part Time and Casual candidates must be able to work alternate weekends, holidays and morning, afternoon and evening shifts.

Paid time off

Hourly wage is currently under review - CBA.

Must provide Vulnerable Sector Police Check and 2 Step TB Test.

This is a long term care facility and an essential service. Candidate must be able to work during a pandemic and adhere to legislated and corporate immunization and testing requirements.

Duties:

Candidate is responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of facility and resident rooms including dusting, mopping, emptying garbage while using infection control protocols. Candidate must be able to push and pull housekeeping cart and be able to sweep, mop and wash floors in accordance with schedule and job routines.

Candidate may also be asked to assist in other areas of the facility such as laundry which involves tight deadlines and lifting heavy loads of soiled linens.

Must enjoy working with seniors and bring a positive can do attitude to work everyday.

Involves pushing, pulling, bending, lifting and standing and walking for long periods of time.

Willing to train the right candidate but experience is considered an asset.
