**About the Organization**

The Mennonite New Life Centre of Toronto (MNLCT) is a vibrant, multi-cultural settlement agency for newcomers to Canada. The Centre provides a variety of settlement services, including information/orientation, language instruction, mental health supports and capacity building workshops, public education and bridging to employment. The Centre is a tech-forward charity that utilizes technology solutions to meet the needs of its stakeholders. As a result, several of our services and programs are delivered in a hybrid format, offering clients and participants options to receive services through virtual and in-person services.

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Bridging Program Director, the Bridging Program Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of the C-Women and BEMC programs within the Mennonite New Life Centre of Toronto (MNLCT). This role involves offering guidance and leadership to all team members of C-Women and BEMC, upholding MNLCT values in delivering services to a range of stakeholders, employers, and community members, alongside MNLCT staff and leadership. As a member of MNLCT’s Leadership Team, the Program Manager also represents all Centre policies and practices across program activities.

**Essential Duties**:

- Implement, execute, and manage program activities as outlined in the project work plan, in coordination with program and Centre staff.
- Manage project metrics and facilitate timeline variances; review budget and prepare budget projections; report on project activities and outcomes to funders as outlined in the funder agreement.
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching/mentoring to program staff and contractors to ensure the achievement of C-Women and BEMC goals and objectives.
- Manage, with support from appropriate bridging and MNLCT staff, program recruitment and outreach strategies.
- Manage the admission process and work with bridging staff and external stakeholders to offer timely acceptance to the bridging programs.
- Manage program staff to educate and build relationships with employers to secure placements and encourage the hiring of internationally educated professionals.
- Monitor documentation of student progress and the issuing of progress reports/certificates in collaboration with the Academic team.
- Train program staff on the use of Apricot (MNLCT) and BPS (funder) databases and internal documents and monitor data entry to ensure it is timely, accurate, and complete.
- Monitor collection of tuition fees in accordance with the Tuition Policy; process client financial support reimbursements collaboratively with the finance team, and receive, record, and approve instructors’ invoices to process payments.
- Address students’ complaints and escalated concerns.
- Ensure program documentation - such as program policies, admissions letters, and website information - is up to date.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2 Years of experience in project management, preferably within the Media and Communications and/or IT Software Testing fields.
- Understanding and critical analysis of challenges and systemic barriers to labor market integration for newcomer professionals.
- Proven ability to communicate, collaborate and advocate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Passion for people and social justice. Empathy, cultural sensitivity and anti-oppression approach.
- Experience and success with staff supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
