Do you love gardening and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others? GARDENWORKS Oak Bay is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused leader to join our team.

**This is a full-time position (32-40 hours per week) with a wage range of $23-25/hour.**

**What You’ll Do**
- Deliver outstanding service to our guests, supporting sales and representing the GARDENWORKS brand.
- Share your gardening expertise—answering questions, providing care and maintenance advice, and helping guests find solutions to their gardening challenges.
- Lead product flow: receiving, pricing, merchandising, and placement.
- Support and train team members on product knowledge, features and benefits, and making the right recommendations to meet guest needs.
- Foster a positive workplace and contribute to store leadership, including opening/closing duties.

**What You Bring**
- A passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
- Knowledge of soils, fertilizers, and garden remedies (pest ID), or a willingness to learn.
- 3+ years of retail sales and customer service experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort using POS systems for reporting.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays during peak seasons.
- Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods, perform regular lifting, and work in varying weather conditions.
- Valid Forklift and Pesticide Dispensing certification—or willingness to complete paid training.
