**Responsibilities**:
Machining of products ranging from 100-2000.lbs to specified requirements as defined in Job Travelers, Drawings, and/or Sketches.
Must be fluent in mechanical blueprint reading and well versed with the various symbols with respect to geometric tolerancing.
Pre-inspection of parts, fabrications and castings to ensure product compliance is achievable prior to the metal removal process.
Accurately measure machined parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments.
Practicing excellent general housekeeping and a safe work environment is a must.
Experience in the operation of the following NC controls is an asset, Fanuc, Okuma and Mazatrol an asset.
Ability to safely operate overhead cranes using various lifting apparatus’ is an asset.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years experience operating manual Lathes and Mills.
CNC experience an asset.
General Machinist certification is an asset.
Motivated and creative approach to machining fundamentals.
Strong attention to quality and detail a must.
