**The Opportunity**:
The Dryland Program Leader 1 for childminding and preschool is responsible for leading preschool programs & camps. This position is required to have minimum Level 1 in Early Childhood (Level 2 or 3 is preferred) in order to provide supervision and support in the childcare centre and preschool day camp areas with a focus in our summer day camps.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Possession of a valid Alberta Driver’s License.
- Commitment to the City’s Cornerstone Values.
- Ability to do minor lifting.
- Ability to work in noisy conditions.
- Ability to work in stressful conditions and deal with conflict situations.
- Level I Childcare Certificate
- Intermediate First Aid

**Affiliation**:
Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 417

**Remuneration**:
$28.30 to $29.79 per hour. While this role offers competitive compensation, we do not participate in the Government of Alberta top-up program.

**Hours of Work**:
52 hours biweekly, as scheduled. Availability required for weekdays, evenings, weekends, early mornings and potential split shifts as dryland programming and business needs require.
