**Responsibilities and Duties**

Basic Function:
The commercial cleaner is responsible for all general office cleaning duties, ensuring all assigned areas are kept at the highest cleaning standard and all tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- To be depended on to arrive at work at the prescribed location and time each day, knowing full well that tardiness and absences from work will place hardship on fellow team members and disrupt client cleaning schedules.
- Perform various cleaning activities, to include cleaning bathrooms, bathroom fixtures, showers and tubs, and including washing floors, cleaning kitchens, vacuuming carpets, dusting, polishing and other cleaning-related activities in accordance with instructions given by the Cleaning Coordinator or the Owner
- Report any broken items, accidents or injuries promptly to the Cleaning Coordinator
- Move couches, chairs and other furniture as needed to ensure everything gets cleaned.
- Secure offices, including locking doors and windows, and activating alarms.
- Report any security or safety violations to the Cleaning Coordinator immediately.
- Report any emergency maintenance problems to include toilets and other water fixtures to the Cleaning Coordinator immediately.
- Wear appropriate uniform and personal protective equipment in accordance with the job you are performing.
- Learn specific cleaning techniques of the company based on time and motion. Work smarter, not harder.
- Attend and participate in meetings as requested by the Cleaning Coordinator and/or Owner
- Leave premises in a safe manner, as to the condition it was found.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour
