This co-operative education opportunity offers hands-on experience in environmental monitoring and assessment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct compliance monitoring programs, including soil, groundwater, surface water, leachate, and air quality assessments.
- Perform suspect building material surveys and collect samples.
- Assist with Environmental Site Assessments and Remediation under senior staff supervision.
- Gain practical experience while supervising soil and bedrock drilling activities, including monitoring well installation, soil vapor sampling and detailed environmental and geotechnical stratigraphy logging.
- Collect, process, and analyze data.
- Prepare technical reports presenting methodology, results, and recommendations.
- Travel as required, including a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a university-level engineering or science program.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, adaptability, and resourcefulness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail for quality assurance and control.
- Team-oriented and highly motivated.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with mínimal supervision.
- Exceptional organizational and coordination skills.
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
