**Job Summary**
The Program Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of our programs. This position is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. The Program Assistant will assist in data collection, project management, and public speaking engagements while also providing leadership support to ensure the successful execution of program initiatives.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to program managers and team members.
- Assist in data collection and analysis to evaluate programming.
- Help organize and coordinate program events, including workshops, circles and training sessions.
- Engage in public speaking opportunities to educate.
- Supervise volunteers or interns involved in various projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide assistance with programming activities and supports.
- Participate in recruiting efforts for new team members or volunteers.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in administrative roles with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis techniques.
- Knack for educating diverse audiences.
- Indigenous harm reduction education and lived experience an asset.
- Skills in computer basics software.writing skills an asset.
- Good project management capabilities to assist with multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities that foster teamwork and collaboration.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
