**Location**: Stoney Creek, ONTARIO

**Job Type**:Part time

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00/hour

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide care and support to children and youth in a safe and nurturing environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and programs
- Ensure the physical, emotional, and social needs of children and youth are met
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with children, youth, families, and colleagues
- Follow policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children and youth
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Service Work, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and youth in a residential or community setting
- Knowledge of child development and behaviour management techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid G License
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
