We are looking for a full-time, permanent **HR Administrator** to work with our growing HR team This is a great opportunity for someone with some office administration experience looking to get into the HR field. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientations; update the process as needed.
- Track and follow-up on onboarding activities.
- Facilitate the performance review evaluation process and prepare corresponding documents.
- Track and document training.
- Stay abreast of and recommend any grant available for training / employee placement / our specific industry.
- Send employee communication.
- Prepare HR forms for approval and draft corresponding letters.
- Update organization chart on a monthly basis.
- Administer and maintain the HRIS, including updating employee records, uploading all relevant correspondence and document, generating reports, exploring new features, backing up the data).
- Audit information in the HRIS, as/when required.
- Build a good rapport with post-secondary institutions and maintain the campus relations (co-op recruitment, campus events, research collaborations).
- Be an active member in the social committee and the safety committee.
- Complete other special projects (ex. Uploading personnel files onto HRIS, transferring training documents into HRIS).
- Potential to be a backup for payroll & benefits administration.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A background in administration or HR; post-secondary education would be considered an asset, but not required.
- Upholds integrity and confidentiality of all personnel files and systems.
- A self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work well with a diverse group.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing work priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks on a timely basis.
- Is approachable and values employee suggestions and feedback.
