**ROLE SUMMARY**
The Data Analyst will be responsible for bridging requirements between our Category Management team, Project Procurement team, Logistics Team.This position reports to the Manager Operations and Center of Excellence or another management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position is located in Cambridge, Ontario and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend working hours may be required as needed. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position;
- Understands costing and cost drivers
- Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports
- Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
- Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filtering and “cleaning” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Working with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities
- Interfaces with business development, finance & engineering for reporting and Data collection
- Execute high-level spend analysis to identify trends and patterns for the purpose of global reporting and communicating areas of cost savings opportunity
- Conduct cost analysis and understand the cost drivers and cost structure for the specific products in the commodity
- Understand supplier capabilities and capacity to secure uninterrupted and reliable supply
- Participate in team meetings to discuss and prioritize projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Supply chain to understand their data needs and translate those requirements into actionable reports and recommendations.
- Work closely with business units to identify data requirements and create data specifications for projects.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, a related program, or equivalent experience.
- Five years’ experience in a supply chain or logistics analytics role.
- An impeccable communication style
- Detail-oriented, self-sufficient, resourceful, organized, and proactive.

**Salary**: $58,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
