Locally owned and operated, employing full time professionals between Esterhazy and our head office in Saskatoon, we have grown to provide full design, fabrication and repair of cutting assemblies for underground mining and tunnelling equipment, including cutting optimization and wear reduction.

**About the job-**

The Quality Assurance Specialist is to ensure and track quality of products entering and leaving the facility.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Create plans to ensure the sampling and testing of production meets quality standards.
- Identify ways to improve quality and work with teams to implement changes..
- Ensure materials and equipment from suppliers meet quality standards.
- Make sure operations follow all regulations and safety standards.
- Identify and reduce risks related to quality.
- Review quality data and create reports for management.
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks and actions taken.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services performed on each piece of equipment, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
- Communicate and collaborate closely with members of other departments as required, fostering effective teamwork.

**Qualifications**:
Related post-secondary degree

5 years experience in mining and manufacturing sector

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to develop strong working relationships with others

Ability and willingness to travel to customer and vendor locations as needed
