We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking OSP (Outside Plant) technicians and ISP/ISW (Inside Plant/Inside Wire) technicians. This position will require company paid travel and over night stays in British Columbia.
Positions available for individuals without related experience but whom would be interested in learning skills for the telecommunications industry, as well as for persons with existing experience.
- Installation of fibre optic cabling in indoor and outdoor settings, underground and aerial.
- Test & troubleshoot fibre optic lines.
- Read and interpret fibre optic network design plans.
- Terminate and test newly installed fibre optic cabling.
- Adhere and maintain client quality standards.
- Travel to other cities and towns in British Columbia
- General labour
**Responsibilities**:
- Promote and actively participate in company safe work practices.
- Participate in daily and monthly safety meetings
- Maintain company equipment and the vehicle in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain personal tool list.
- Participation in different positions within the organization
**Qualifications & abilities**:
- Honest
- Punctual
- Self starter with the ability to take direction and learn new skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Physically able to perform job duties in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Maintain a safe and harassment free work environment
- Maintain detailed site records
- Ability to comply with specified policies and procedures for both company and customer
- Ability to work at heights
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Must have valid drivers license, clean abstract and clean security check
- Positive attitude, ability to work with others, and willingness to learn

- Confined Space Certificate

- First Aid
- WHMIS
- CSTS 2020
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Additional pay:
