Adfast is currently seeking a **Production Operator - Automated Mixing**

**Job description**

Under the responsibility of the Director of Production, the production operator is responsible for carrying out, monitoring and controlling the manufacturing processes of various types of adhesives and sealants.

**Working conditions**:
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, Day shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm

**Status**: Permanent position

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Operate automated production equipment while following established procedures;
- Manufacture masterbatches and industrial glues;
- Take samples and perform certain quality controls during the process;
- Prepare/weigh all raw materials required for production;
- Follow and control the manufacturing process in an automated way;
- Follow and control the manufacturing process in an automated way; Perform the required line adjustments (setup);
- Complete computerized production reports;
- Carry out controls on products to ensure their conformity to the company's standards;
- Maintain the equipment and environment related to production;
- All other related tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a technical background in chemical processes or any other related field
- Experience in the manufacturing sector
- Experience in handling various chemical products;
- Basic computer skills;
- Knowledge of WHMIS;
- Forklift card (an asset)
