Surrey, Canada Cullen Western Star Trucks Ltd Full time

Reporting to the Service Manager, Cullen Western Star is seeking to hire a Full Time General Labourer.

This position will focus on facilities maintenance.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- General upkeep of common areas, hallways, staircases, and grounds as directed.
- Minor office space changes - desk assembly, white board installation, relocation of small office equipment, etc.
- Assist in maintaining a comfortable work environment - lighting, workspace adjustments, etc
- Minor building repairs and maintenance.
- Overseeing recycling and materials/waste removal.
- Assist in obtaining quotations from trades.
- Assist in coordinating and overseeing the activities of trades working on site.
- Assist in maintaining work log and completing required paperwork.
- Assist in managing outside contractors to ensure required work is completed.

**Required skills and abilities**:

- Maintenance person experience is preferred.
- Can lift up to 50lbs and perform other physically demanding duties.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license; current abstract required.
- Must be proactive and be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.

**Hours**: 40 hours a week as required by workload. Willingness to work any shift within the Collective Agreementas some afternoon and Saturday work may be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $24.43 per hour
