Surrey, Canada Amix Steel and Surplus Full time

As a family-owned company founded in 1971, Amix has expanded into a wide range of services, including marine salvage, marine projects, marine towing and barging, concrete sales and steel distribution.

Amix is looking for an individual to fulfill an open role with Amix Recycling. This position will be responsible for working closely with the Operations Manager and following instructions for the completion of general labour tasks. General Labourer tasks may include the use of a variety of tools such as forklifts, grinders, and powers drills, etc.

This position is full time, Monday through Friday.

**Responsibilities**:
The General Labourer will be responsible for the following:

- Completing all duties as assigned in a timely and efficient manner
- Working with a variety of tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Other general labour duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Grade 12 or GED
- Scrap medal experience
- Forklift, welding or bobcat experience
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Experience in the use of a variety of tools
- Must be reliable, mature, punctual, motivated
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team and communicate effectively
- Knowledgeable in general safety practices

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
