Copcan Civil, part of NorLand Limited, is a leader in civil contracting, construction management, environmental contracting, forestry, demolition, and aggregate sales across British Columbia. Our expertise spans a wide range of services, ensuring we can meet the diverse needs of our clients.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring all work is completed within specifications
- Maintaining all tools and equipment in good working order
- Rigging pipe for hoisting and installing all types of pipe (i.e. watermain, sanitation, storm, etc.)
- Preparing and grading trenches, and installing Manholes and Catch Basins
- Performing tasks involving physical labour such as loading and unloading building materials and equipment as needed
- Preparing the site to eliminate potential hazards
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the site to ensure it is clear of water and scrap material
- Following instructions and operating as a productive member of a high-functioning team
- Working independently, as well as part of a team
- Being punctual and having excellent attendance

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Experience working in shored trenches installing various pipe types
- Safety knowledge and experience in the construction industry
- Valid BC driver’s license preferred - First aid is considered an asset
- Fit to work - ability to see, hear, walk, stand, and lift up to 50lbs
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Willing to work in varied weather conditions
