We are looking for a Unix Systems Administrator to work as a Consultant within the system administration team of one of our clients. You would onboard our client's Level 3 Unix server support team, an agile system team, and would be responsible for supporting, designing, and improving the Unix infrastructure. **Key responsibilities**: - Work integrated in an agile organized team to deliver Unix support and projects - Follow up on Clients requests and incidents. Work with them as a business partner in total transparency - Participate in the Follow the Sun support by providing support for Europe and Asia - Propose innovative and industrial solutions to automatize your repetitive tasks and improve team’s efficiency - Participate in the common automation effort by collaborating actively with the various feature teams - Manage the activity based on ITIL Framework (Change management, Incident/Request management) - Onboard the teams’ routine and participate in overtime operations at least once a Month - Work closely with our Bangalore based Level 1 on our service optimization **Required skills**: - Linux Server Operating Systems RHEL - Dev (Python/Perl/Git/Bash) - Volume manager and LVM - Puppet / Ansible **Proficiency in**: - Redhat IDM - HP / DELL x86 Hardware - Low latency networking and troubleshooting (10GB / Multicast) - TCP/IP protocol suite and its utilities (LDAP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, and NFS, etc.) - NetBackup or other enterprise backup platforms - SAN and FC Storage and NFS **Desired Skills**: - Redhat Satellites - Oracle RAC setup - ElasticSearch / Kibana / Logstach - Software Factory (e.g. Jenkins) and Continous Delivery - Contribution on Open Source Github project - Openstack - Bilingual French / English would be a plus **Joining Talan also means**: - Joining a group where Innovation is at the heart of our development, thanks in particular to our investments and partnerships around the most impactful technologies for our customers such as Big Data, the Internet of Things, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence, Cloud solutions, etc. - working with dynamic teams, where the role of the employee is at the center of attention, with the will to create spaces allowing each one to blossom, whether it is in his professional career or through social and environmental commitments - Have the opportunity to access the group's various knowledge communities, share expertise, contribute to development, and innovate, all with a strong team spirit and entrepreneurship - Benefit from competitive advantages on the market **Talan is a great playground, it's up to you
