Retail Associate

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandising display
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately
- Address customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Collaborate with business owner to achieve sales goals and improve store performance
- Manage inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
- Light cleaning/dusting
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is an asset
- Familiarity with Square POS is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy work environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated
- Experience with merchandising practices is beneficial
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all times
