**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Records Management FOIP coordinator, the Administrative Assistant is a shared service that serves as a key member of both the People Services and Data & Technology teams.
This position provides clerical support for the day-to-day operations of areas within People Services, including Human Resources, Occupational Health & Safety and Payroll for 50% of the allocated hours providing general administrative support. The other 50% of the allocated hours, this position is responsible for supporting the operations and initiatives of the Data and Technology Services, including records and privacy management functions including supporting records and information services including fulfilling requests and digitization as well as assisting with the development and maintenance of the privacy management program.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- A certificate in a related field such as Office Administration, Records Management, Privacy Management, Library Science or Legal Studies;
- Member of or eligible for membership in an information management or privacy management association such as ARMA, AIIM, IAPP or ICRM preferred;
- One (1) year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Valid Class 5 Driver's license
**Salary and Benefits**:$2,250.00 - $2,812.50 biweekly (dependent upon experience). The City offers a generous benefit package, including health and welfare benefits, pension plan and 3 weeks’ vacation to start.
