**Lead Hand - Night Shift**

**_Responsibilities: _**
- Lead and Monitor a team of approximately 25 production associates during production activities to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Motivate and train employees to improve production efficiency while also maintaining established product quality and safety standards.
- Communicate any production, safety, quality, equipment or employee issues to the designated supervisor, and help in coming up with solutions.
- Update order status in Company ERP system
- Work together with other department leads in regards to order status or any other production related issues
- Participate in any department continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain sufficient supply of work materials
- Provide regular updates to production supervisors, production managers, and plant manager in regards to day to day work processes and any employee concerns that may arise.
- Lead employees in a respectful and fair manner and promote a positive, safe, and inclusive team culture at all times.

**_Qualifications: _**
- Secondary School completion is an asset
- 2 + years of experience leading a team of production employees
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, PPE, performing equipment inspections, etc)
- Ability to read and write in English
- Basic experience with using an ERP system
- Must be flexible to work overtime when required
