**ey Responsibilities**- Direct, schedule and effectively organize and manage team members, including Automotive Technicians and Service Advisors, to ensure team objectives and service goals are achieved.-
- Collaborate with other department managers to effect efficient operations and to improve processes.-
- Create an exceptional customer service experience by: maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers, delivering quality service, recommending the best products and services, and addressing any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.-
- Establish processes & standards to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations.-
- Regularly audit work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met and that repair work is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly.-
- Handle escalated customer complaints.-
- Maintain service desk, including managing service desk team members and evaluating desk efficiency.-
- Resolve service desk problems and improve current service desk operations to increase productivity and enable amazing customer service.-
- Monitor department operations and client concerns to define patterns and work to improve efficiency.-
- Mentor, coach, train and support the development of all staff.-
- Control and monitor department expenses.-
- Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment.-
- Manage the day-to-day Service and Parts workflow-
- Actively manage and improve on all measured performance indicators, including: gross sales, profitability, loyalty, CSI, etc.-
- Forecast goals and objectives for the departments and endeavor to meet them-
- Effectively liaise and manage relationships with OEM representatives.-
- Work closely with the administrative department to make sure all outstanding financial items are dealt with quickly and accurately-
- Procurement of shop equipment-
- Supervising and keeping record of shop equipment maintenance.-
- Effective management of warranty submissions to Hyundai-
- Maintain a current parts inventory that is under 12 months old through effective inventory management processes**What you need to be successful**:
- Previous experience at a Kia dealership considered an asset or experience in parts and service-
- Customer-focused team player and detail orientated, with the ability to multi-task-
- Positive attitudes with exceptional communication skills-
- Demonstrate, at a minimum, basic computer skills in order to accomplish daily tasks**C**

- Minimum 3 years management experience in the automotive service industry.-
- Valid BC Drivers License with a clean/safe driving record.-
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.-
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.-
- Front office parts and service experience.-
- Experience dealing with customers.-
- Efficient problem-solving skills.-
- High level of integrity.-
- Working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered.Ability to train, coach, direct, and encourage automotive technicians, service advisors, and shop supervisor.-
- Ability to motivate and engage team members.-
