**About RockHaven**: RockHaven Children's Services Inc. is dedicated to providing a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment for children with emotional and behavioral needs. We offer a family-based residential treatment program that combines in-home living with mental health treatment and support.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Supervision and Support**: Provide guidance, supervision, and support to treatment foster parents, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to care for children with complex needs.
- **Case Management**: Oversee and manage individual cases, including developing and implementing care plans, monitoring progress, and coordinating with other professionals.
- **Training and Development**: Organize and conduct training sessions for foster parents, focusing on trauma-informed care, behavior management, and therapeutic interventions.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that all care and treatment provided meets the standards and guidelines set by RockHaven and relevant regulatory bodies.
- **Crisis Intervention**: Provide crisis intervention support as needed, including on-call support for emergency situations.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate and detailed records, and prepare reports as required.
**Qualifications**:
- A degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in foster care, social work, or mental health services.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Valid G driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening mandatory.
- Child Welfare Record mandatory.
- First Aid and Standard CPR Certification.
