**Maintenance Manager**

**Overview**

Inn On Prince is currently hiring for a Maintenance Manager to oversee the general maintenance of the hotel and conference centre and help provide an environment that maximizes productivity and safety as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment. We are looking for a complete professional with a proven track record for success.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the maintenance staff and ensure proper maintenance is performed on all property equipment and property projects
- Oversee the maintenance of the hotel including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and trash removal
- Oversee the installation of new HVAC systems and appliances
- Help manage a maintenance budget and report to the General Manager
- Manage any guest complaints or problems with care and courtesy
- Help manage any pool or outdoor space needs such as pool chemicals, equipment, etc.
- Oversee any pool care needs.
- Oversee any snow removal.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed, signed by management and completed by the end of the month for maintenance reports reporting.
- Provide regular training to maintenance staff on safety procedures and guaranteed services (when available)
- Assist in conducting audits on property to ensure proper maintenance is being done.
- Keep logs/records on all repairs made and ensure proper billing is made for those repairs.
- Display adequate computer skills; program TV's and door locks, repair and replace door locks, understand telephone systems, lighting systems, operate smart phones and related tracking programs.
- Act as a mentor to junior associates.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel maintenance (key lock systems, HVAC installation, plumbing repair, electrical repair, appliance installation etc.)
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to hotel occupancy.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to handle a busy maintenance calendar throughout the year with flexibility to meet demands as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
