**Summary**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Act as the primary point of contact for new accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Identify and target new business opportunities and proactively pursue partnerships with potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as catering, marketing, and operations to ensure smooth account management and effective implementation of strategies.
- Negotiate pricing structures, contracts, and terms of agreements with clients to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome.
- Act as a trusted advisor and develop a deep understanding and ability of the client’s business to better address client needs during negotiations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competition activities
- Monitor revenue performance and take proactive measures to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and stay abreast of industry updates.
- Maintain an ongoing relationship with current, past clients and internal teams
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

**Education, Qualification and Requirements**
- University or college diploma or degree in Business Administration or Hotel Management preferred
- 2 or more years of proven experience as Sales Executive or similar roles within the Hotel Industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- A high level of selling skills to source out, pursue, and close sales with new customers in a variety of markets.
- Ability and flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Capable of creating and maintaining a large client network
- Proficiency in using Delphi software and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
- Strong customer service, organization, presentation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills;
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Clear Criminal Record Check upon hiring

**Work Environment**
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time;
- Ability to work on a computer for an extended period.
- Repetitive work such as keyboarding, filing, answering phones, etc.
- Forward bending and squatting while performing filing duties.
- Ability to walk around the hotel from department to department.
- May be required to lift boxes up to 10 (ten) pounds when handling paper or files.
