Concrete Technician

Greater Toronto Area, Canada Engtec Consulting Inc. Full time

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform tests on concrete for temperature, slump, density and air content
- Taking the concrete samples as required and delivering to the lab for final testing
- Occasionally test other materials such as asphalt, aggregate and soils
- Maintain daily checklists and prepare reports as well as concrete cards

Qualifications:

- 2-5 years’ field experience of compaction and concrete testing
- CCIL or equivalent certifications
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
**- Must** have a valid G driver’s license
- Willing to work overtime, nights and weekends as required

**Experience**:

- Must have experience on MTO or similar projects
- High production concrete pour experience required

**Education**:

- Completion of a High School Diploma (mandatory)
- 2-year College Civil Technician Diploma (preferred)

**Salary**: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
