**Overview**
High Definition Concrete Ltd. is currently seeking experienced and reliable Concrete Technician to join our rapidly growing team. High Definition Concrete is a multigenerational concrete company privately owned and operated in the Greater Vancouver Area. HD is union-affiliated employer that is always seeking ways to innovate within the concrete space and service our clients needs across our business segments: Ready-Mix Concrete, Volumetric Concrete, Laboratory Services, Research and Development.

As a Concrete Technician at High Definition Concrete, your job responsibilities will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Independently drive to various job sites to conduct concrete testing in accordance with company quality procedures.
- Effectively communicate with your supervisor and team members on daily tasks to ensure schedule is maintained.
- Accurately input testing data into the system and notify required team members of non-conformances.
- Perform basic laboratory procedures related to concrete quality control.
- Adhering to all Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures established by HD.
- Being an advocate of the High Definition Concrete brand including maintaining a positive attitude, and generally representing High Definition Concrete well in the public eye.

**Requirements for the role include**:

- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Own a vehicle for work (Mileage compensation provided)
- Fluent in English (written & oral)
- High school diploma
- Availability to work weekends
- Willingness to work away from home (up to 2 weeks with additional compensation)
- Flexible schedule
- Drug & alcohol testing for site entry

**How to Stand Out**:

- Pursuing an undergraduate or secondary education program
- 1-2 years of experience in a construction environment
- Familiarity with CSA standards, concrete, and concrete testing
