As a senior level Gas Scheduler, a high degree of independence, accountability, and problem solving is required. A scheduler in this position must place timely and accurate pipeline nominations in accordance with the commercial transactions completed by the marketers and traders across the various North American Natural Gas Pipelines. This individual is further encouraged to be proactive in anticipating and adapting to changing pipeline and market conditions as well as internal and external customer needs. Additionally, a senior Gas Scheduler must take a leadership role in working with the Accounting team to ensure natural gas volumes are accurately accounted for prior to processing invoices. A leadership role around volume management generally is expected.

**What You Will Do**:

- Take a leadership position in all manners of volume management with all teams internal at Tidal Energy Marketing.
- Balance pipeline positions with the commercial team which requires strong communication skills.
- Ensure timely and accurate pipeline nominations.
- Independent weekend on-call coverage across all pipelines Tidal Energy Marketing is active on throughout North America. This includes completing short term commercial transactions to satisfy customer requests and balance positions.
- Anticipate the needs of the Commercial Team and provide internal customer service, focusing on the goal of revenue creation. This includes providing analysis on pipeline conditions, asset use, customer requests, imbalances, etc.
- Anticipate customer needs and provide strong external customer service around requests and inquiries about nominations and volume updates.
- Participate in reconciling daily transactions in the Gas Management System with actual daily nominations.
- Review pipeline invoices to ensure accuracy prior to approval for payment by the Accounting team.

**Who You Are**:
**Required**
- 6+ years of Scheduling experience.
- University Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Attention to detail.
- An ability to problem solve and provide creative solutions, often within a short window of time.
- Good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
- An ability to work as a great teammate in a team-based environment.
- Expert level abilities with Gas Management System.
- Proactive leadership skills around volume management.
