Finish Grader Operator

**Summary**:
The Finish Grader operates self-propelled motor grader, with the skill to meet company productions and work within specified tolerances.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Positively participate in Goal Zero Initiative, including adhering to the Defined Activities as defined for their position.
- Responsible for equipment checks and informing mechanics and supervisors of mechanical problems with the equipment.
- Must be able to identify hazards on site.
- Must be willing and able to learn general construction practices involving road construction.
- Must have an understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
- Have the ability to work in an implement safe work practices and contribute to a safe work environment.

**Skills/Knowledge**:

- Minimum 3 years of Grader operating experience.
- Must have experience finishing road and stabilizing
- Must be able to work in highly congested areas
- Must be willing to do heavy intensive tasks/groundwork as required.
- Willing to learn and take direction.
- Must be able to communicate well with co-workers.
- Must have a valid driver's license (class 5).
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be physically able to perform all physical action pertinent to the equipment they operate.
- Ability to meet and adhere to all safety requirements and applicable safety policies, including pre-employment drug, alcohol, and medical testing.
- Must maintain active membership with the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE), Local 955.
