**Position Overview**

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial **General Manager & Head Pro** to lead our team at Pickleplex Cambridge. This unique role combines **business leadership, member acquisition, programming development, and on-court coaching**. The GM/Head Pro will focus on growing the club’s membership, developing innovative programs, and delivering high-quality coaching, while ensuring that Pickleplex remains a vibrant and welcoming community.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Business Growth & Leadership**
- Drive membership sales, client retention, and overall revenue growth.
- Build partnerships with schools, businesses, and community groups.
- Oversee front desk and operations staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff and coaches.
- Monitor club performance against revenue and engagement targets.

**Programming & Coaching**
- Design and deliver pickleball programs including clinics, leagues, open play, camps, and skill-based sessions.
- Provide private and group coaching to players of all levels.
- Mentor assistant coaches and ensure consistency of coaching standards.

**Events & Tournaments**
- Lead planning, promotion, and execution of tournaments and special events.
- Manage event logistics (registration, brackets, scoring, staff).
- Ensure fun, well-organized, and professional events that enhance member experience.

**Qualifications**
- Strong pickleball background (certification and/or competitive experience preferred).
- Previous leadership or management experience (sports, recreation, or hospitality).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with proven sales and business development ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable working flexible hours (evenings, weekends).

**Compensation & Benefits**
- Competitive base salary.
- **Revenue incentives**: % of new membership revenue + % of personal/club coaching revenue.

Pay: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
