**Position Summary**

We are looking for a professional and safety-oriented Class 1 Truck Driver, you will have the ability to work well with mínimal supervision and have a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly and safely. Operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Role involves adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring the timely delivery of cargo to its destination.

- Monday - Friday
- Start Time: 7:00 AM
- Areas covering: Winnipeg City and Surrounding short rural areas

**What you will do**
- Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
- Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
- Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Valid Class 1/AZ License is required
- Clean 5 years Commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events)
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience required
- Must have manual transmission experience
- Must have hand bombing experience
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with smartphone technology
- Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors
- Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations
- Must be bondable and legally able to work in Canada
