Reporting to the Site Foreman, the Class 1 Truck Driver is responsible for transporting freight of different sorts including heavy construction equipment, aggregate materials and overweight and over dimensional loads. This is a permanent, full-time position and will require a flexible working schedule. This position will be based out of our Elkhorn, MB location.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**:

- Haul heavy equipment, mainly excavators and dozers, to and from multiple jobsites
- Ensure electronic and daily trip logs are up to date and submitted daily
- Complete pre and post trip inspections and document accordingly
- Create proper bill of ladings when picking up and dropping off equipment at sites
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation including D.O.T regulations

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:

- Must hold a valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Minimum 3+ years of Class 1 driving is required
- Experience loading and hauling construction equipment
- Experience hauling materials with end dumps and side dumps
- Experience hauling multi-axle configurations will be considered an asset
- Experience driving on winter roads will be considered an asset
