High School Physical Education Instructor, Maplewood Academy

**Maplewood Academy**is a well-established private high school in midtown, Toronto dedicated to providing high-quality education to our students. We are currently seeking a part-time high school physical education instructor.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons for high school students.
2. Teach a variety of sports, fitness activities, and health concepts.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
4. Assess and track student progress in physical education.
5. Follow school policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Education, or relevant field preferred.
2. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently.
5. Passionate about teaching and committed to providing high-quality education to
students.
6. Available to work during the academic year (September-January/January-June),
with an average of 3-5 hours per week for each course.
7. Able to teach courses in person.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- physical education: 4 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- teaching license in Ontario (preferred)
Work Location: In person
