**Apprentice Transport Trailer Technician**

**Location**: Calgary, AB

We are a full-service trailer repair shop in Calgary, actively seeking motivated and eager Apprentice Transport Trailer Technicians to join our team. As a provider of transportation solutions, we are dedicated to excellence in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our clients' fleets.

**Responsibilities**:
As an Apprentice Transport Trailer Technician, you will be learning and assisting in various tasks to support our shop’s reputation for exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:

- **CVIP Inspections**: Assist with Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) inspections, learning to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Help document and report any identified issues.
- **Trailer Maintenance**: Support routine maintenance tasks to keep transport trailers in optimal condition. Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- **Electrical Work**: Aid in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and electronic components. Learn to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- **Larger Mechanical Jobs**: Assist with complex mechanical repairs, such as brake system overhauls, suspension work, and axle replacements. Work closely with team members to handle larger mechanical projects.
- **Body Work**: Help with body repairs, including welding, panel replacement, and other structural enhancements. Ensure that trailer bodies meet safety and quality standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Enrollment in or completion of a Transport Trailer Technician apprenticeship program is an asset
- Basic knowledge of CVIP inspections, trailer maintenance, electrical work, larger mechanical repairs, and body work is an asset
- Strong willingness to learn and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to compliance
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
