Customer Service Representative

**Job description**

Industrial Plastics & Paints is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR). This person will work directly with customers in-store to serve their needs in our Mission, BC branch. **Saturday availability is mandatory.**

Our most successful employees enjoy problem solving and are makers themselves with personal experience using the type of products we stock and sell.

We are eager to help you learn and train on the specifics of our products, if you are able to think quickly on your feet and are flexible to a wide-range of retail job demands.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

- Genuinely care about providing our customers with technical assistance in selecting the best product solution.

- Take initiative and work well as part of a team
- Work safely with at all times with shop equipment.
- Be respectful, direct and make decisions in the best interest of the customer.
- **Available for part-time hours Monday - Saturday. Availability on Saturday is required.**

**Capabilities**:

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Handle Cash and use POS to enter sales transactions.
- Read and follow blueprints and drawings.
- Create detailed hand-sketches with dimensions from customer's verbal instructions.

**OUR LOCATIONS**: We operate from the following locations in Western Canada.

**Corporate Stores**:Kelowna, Victoria, Richmond, Port Coquitlam.

**Franchise Partners**: Nanaimo, Courtenay, Calgary

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mission, BC V2V 2X2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
