Suite Kitchen Lead

**THE ROLE**
The Suite Kitchen Lead is responsible for the overall operation of their assigned kitchen/pantry. They will monitor and ensure consistent quality of both food product and customer service to all assigned suites. The primary function of the Suite Kitchen Lead is to manage the kitchen, ensuring timely expedition of food and beverage via direction to Suite Attendants and Runners.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee setup, delivery, overall service to suites assigned to specific pantries.
- Monitor kitchen maintenance and report any deficiencies to manager for repair.
- Direct and delegate assignments to up to 15 staff on any given shift.
- Place game day orders with main kitchen.
- Ensure all food and beverage is expedited from assigned kitchen to the suites on time and product is of superior quality at all times.
- Enforce all company standards of suite service as outlined by management.
- Monitor and control inventory of all products (open and close) and control access to product at all times. Complete all relevant documents regarding inventory.
- Enforce company alcohol compliance policy.
- Assign duties including closing duties and ensure workspace is left neat, stocked, and organized.
- Understand menus, orders, and special instructions.
- Ensure invoices balance at end of each shift.
- Complete shift recap after each shift.
- Direct Suite Pantry Coordinators and complete all related paperwork.
- Enforce all company health and safety policies/practices.
- Liaison with contracted Hosts in assigned suites to ensure understanding of that order and assist or call for management when needed to handle any challenges.
- Pre-event and post-event suite checks of assigned suites on every shift.
- Any other duties assigned by Management.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be task oriented and highly organized
- Post secondary education and/or previous experience in a Supervisor or similar role is an asset
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive work environment
- Superior customer service skills
- Must be a team player and demonstrate basic leadership skills
- Ability to multitask under strict deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate potential challenges
- Smart Serve certification
- Food Handlers certification is an asset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
Location: On Site

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands to finger, and handle controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, and stoop. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
