We’re looking for an all-star Manager, Production Operations to help us grow the Rogers Sports & Media brand and build a strong Operations team to ensure the highest quality product for our customers. We are looking for someone with a strong background in people, resource, and operations management. Someone that possesses a strong work ethic, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills with experience in both live and post production. This Manager will have a significant role in shaping Sportsnet properties such as the NHL, Sportsnet Central, Tim & Sid and Blue Jays Central, to name a few.

**What you will do**
- Lead, engage and motivate a large group of post-production operators including Editors and Post-Audio Operators
- Oversee the management of the daily workings of the technical setup and workflows
- Liaison with multiple teams including editorial, programming and engineering on operational requirements for day to day and special projects
- Ensure appropriate tools, skills, facilities, and support structures are in place to support the Operations team
- Play a lead role in major projects such as new technology implementation, training and workflow changes and improvements
- Recruit, hire and train top talent filling both full-time and part-time positions
- Be the conduit between teams to ensure the smooth operation of our newsroom, studios, and control rooms
- Work closely with the Sr. Manager, Broadcast Operations in ensuring all operational needs are fulfilled

**What you will bring**
- Management experience and style that builds on compassion and support of those you manage
- Knowledge of and experience in a multitude of editing software and programs including Avid, Grass Valley Rio, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and graphical edit template programs
- A keen interest in innovation
- An ability to multi-task and work in a fast and driven environment
- Understanding of a unionized environment and working with unionized staff
- Proficient at coaching and mentoring multiple areas of specialization
- Ability to lead through influence to drive change and achieve results in a large organization
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- A desire and passion to connect sports fans to content and new ways of engaging around the sports they love
- A can-do attitude
