You will be supporting government, financial, commercial, and internal compliance of cost and prices in bids and proposals. **Responsibilities**: - Lead and Support: - Government cost & price audits. - Annual rate negotiations with the Canadian Government. - Customer cost and price fact-finding inquiries. - Support the commercialization of products. - Internal Control documentation and sensitive data governance. - Transfer Pricing Analysis for intercompany transactions. - Cashflow analysis and tracking. - Support the financial modeling of business cases. - Ensure cost and price data, tools and methodologies are adequate, substantiated, and supportable. - Interact with functional different groups (Proposals, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, Corporate Finance) as required to fulfil mandate. - Review all contract clauses for commercial/financial documents and make recommendations such that CAE's financial risk is minimized, and customer's requirements are met. **Requirements**: - University degree with accounting designation and/or CFA completed or in progress. - Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting and/or corporate finance. - Knowledge of and experience in the Canadian and US Government procurement regulations (Ie: Canada: 1031.2 Cost Principles, US: FAR Part 15 etc.) an asset and preferred. - Capability of obtaining a Canadian Security & Controlled Goods clearance (mandatory). - Experience in project cost accounting an asset. - Relevant experience and knowledge in accounting regulations (IFRS) & financial principles would be an asset. - Possess strong leadership and critical thinking skills. - Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills is required. - Ability to effectively communicate diplomatically with government agencies and upper management. - High performer in a fast-paced dynamic environment. - Proficiency with MS Office tools. - Bilingual - English and French.
