Weld Technician/operator

**Weld Technician Job Duties**:

- 3M/4M verification and countermeasure
- Modify or Troubleshoot basic operations of robotic systems, change hardware, single axis master, robot zoning
- Understand manufacturing line safety system and proper safeguarding of equipment
- Understand all key quality points and quality alerts for each process
- Understand resistance weld theory and factors that contribute to non-conforming welds
- Support Quality Control group with jig adjustments and understand datum and net surface purposes
- Monitor PLC operations through HMI
- Report, analyze and create work orders for short stop and Efficiency issues
- Basic maintenance repairs on fixtures and robots
- Ensure all Associates are following proper machine safety procedures
- Be able to load and operate all lines in your section

**What we look for**:

- Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma, Electrical Engineering Technician Diploma, Robotic Technician Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience or more working in an automotive or equivalent industry
- Applicable knowledge and/or education in the automotive manufacturing sector an asset
- Applicable knowledge and or/experience operating robotic weld equipment
