**Arborist Assistant**

Kentucky Blue Grass Ltd is looking for Arborist Assistant/Grounds crew members to add to our growing tree department. Kentucky Blue Grass is a landscaping and tree service company that specialize in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. We service Edmonton and surrounding areas. We are looking to fill various positions for our upcoming season with people that are highly energetic, have a great work attitude and safe work practice. Prefered applicants have experience in the Tree Service industry.

Responsibilities would include the following:

- Tree pruning
- Tree removal
- Chain saw work
- Bucket Truck/Lift work
- Working at Heights
- Heavy Lifting
- Rigging
- Chipper work
- Tree Climbing (with and without spurs)
- Spraying trees and shrubs with pesticide/herbicides
- Deep root fertilization of trees and shrubs.

Applicants must be ready to work in any weather conditions and have a valid drivers License. Applicants must also be fully vaccinated (Covid-19)

**Job Types**: Apprenticeship, Seasonal

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All trucks, equipment and touch points are sanitized every morning. All staff have their temperatures taken on a daily basis and are required to wear a face mask while driving in company vehicles. Hand sanitizer is provided for all employees.
