Electrical Technician

**Position Summary**:
The Electrical Technician will have primary responsibility for all panel building and control wiring.

**Reports To**:Supervisor of Electrical

**Essential Functions**:
Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

- Wire equipment to ensure all electrical parts are in working order, as per specifications
- Panel building, machine wiring, drive programming, and machine testing
- Set up and perform circuit tests
- Solder wires to electrical components
- Provide technical assistance to engineering designers, and shop personnel
- Help maintain and organize electrical documentation for manual preparation and reference material for work instructions and troubleshooting activities
- Perform electrical maintenance throughout the facility as required

Will interact effectively and regularly with:
Hourly operations employees including Production Leaders

Purchasing, Inventory

**Education and/or Experience**:
Post-secondary education

2-5 years previous experience in a related field

Experience in trouble shoot electrical control systems

**Language Skills**:
Strong written and verbal communications required. Ability to interact clearly and confidently with all levels in the organization.

**Computer Skills**:
Must be proficient in Microsoft office (excel &word)

**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations**:
Electrical license (309A or 442A)

Electrical technician diploma

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
